PETUNIA and its many varieties (POTUNIA, SURFINIA...) bloom at the end of spring, in summer and in autumn. Which makes it the great friend of gardeners. Its flowers are white, pink, red or purple. This perennial flower grown as an evergreen annual will mature to a height of 30cm. Not very hardy, it likes exposure to the sun and moderately rich, light, drained soil with neutral acidity. The PETUNIA is grown in pots, planters, suspensions, beds, rockeries or low walls and is planted in the spring. It propagates by sowing in February-March at 15°C and by cuttings in August. Our advice for its pruning: remove faded flowers as you go along and bring fertilizer rich in potash to encourage flowering.
